29 weeks

not much goin on this week. its been rainy the last couple of days. nothing comes to mind to blog about. i have been doing weekly blogs more or less to have some kind of journal about how my pregnancy has been goin! nothing has changed! i still feel great, still workin out a couple hours every morning, i still wake up and am reminded i cant sit up, walk, or bend over like i use to. but it doesnt bother me. i love it all! im looking forward to february! i cant believe this month has gone by so fast, but i have to admit im glad! tomorrow is my brother IAN's birthday! he will be 24 on the 24th! alot of people dont even know i have a brother or forget about him. but some are so good to always ask how he is doing and they think about him often! he is a big part of my life even though i dont get to see him much! he has one more test to take to be a CPA! my family is all really proud of him! i hope i can see him and his awesome wife jamie soon! i miss them so much! alot to look forward too though for feb....the 2nd is the premier for LOST!!!! one of garret and my favorite shows that we got hooked on! i use to make fun of people who watched it, until i started watching it! it sucks you right in, and we started from the beginning and watched all 5 seasons on netflix within a few months! and waiting for season 6 has been hard for us along with many other lost fans! and we cant forget the 14th! VALENTINES DAY!!! we dont have any plans, but i am excited to spend it with a loving husband! also, the 23rd i mentioned is my sisters bday and when we start our birthing classes! and then Lord willing on the 24th we hope to leave for california! we hope to spend a couple days with my grandpa, mom, and sister out there, and then a couple days with garrets family in vegas on our way home! so that should be a fun trip! well thats about all i can think of for now! hope all of you are doing great!

How your baby's growing at 29 weeks:
Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
