3 months and counting

so saturday i will be entering my 2nd trimester!!!! im so excited! i cant believe its already going so fast. if it keeps going at this rate, april will be here sooner than i thought. but im sure that last month can go pretty slow....we will see. i have not had one drop of sickness! thats a miracle! the past couple of days i have really noticed my stomach starting to stretch. i doubt anyone else can tell at this point that im growing, but i can feel it. i might show sooner than i thought i would, but it may just be teasing me, and take a couple more months...im eager to find out. its starting to get colder out. more so in the mornings and evenings, they mid day still seems hot. but im looking forward to the winter cause we will start to paint the nursery and other rooms in the house for fun! im also eager to start wearing maternity clothes...i dont know if i will enjoy when i cant fit into my jeans anymore, but its all exciting to me! well anyways, here are a couple pics of a few couple more things we got for the babys room. a changing table at a yard sale for $15, in great condition, and some baby monitors i got from a cousin. and then here is a pic of jen and zathan, at monkey business, she, beth, the kids and i went yesterday for fun! adults are free!!!!!! and the little ones were only 3 dollars. it was a blast! they had inflatable slides, and obstacle courses, and a jungle gym thing! we had alot of fun! i cant wait to take my kids there! well hope you all have a good weekend!

How your baby's growing:

The most dramatic development this week: reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. His intestines, which have grown so fast that they protrude into the umbilical cord, will start to move into his abdominal cavity about now, and his kidneys will begin excreting urine into his bladder.

Meanwhile, nerve cells are multiplying rapidly, and in your baby's brain, synapses are forming furiously. His face looks unquestionably human: His eyes have moved from the sides to the front of his head, and his ears are right where they should be. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce.
